  • 2 pieces onions
  • 2 small potatoes
  • 1/2 piece carrot
  • 1 ยฝ large green onion
  • 2 pieces spicy peppers
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 800 ml water
  • 100 ml soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • ground pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp coarse Korean red chili pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbsp fine Korean red chili pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Soak the pork ribs in cold water and rinse each piece to ensure cleanliness.
  2. Boil a large pot of water, add the pork ribs for 5-8 minutes until they change color, then discard the water.
  3. Chop the onions, carrot, and potato into bite-sized pieces, and slice the green onions and spicy peppers.
  4. Return the cleaned pork ribs to a pot, sprinkle in sugar, and stir-fry on medium-high heat until the sugar melts.
  5. Add the chopped onions and cook on high for 8-10 minutes until translucent.
  6. Pour in water and bring to a simmer. Add potatoes, carrots, garlic, and soy sauce. Let simmer until reduced.
  7. Stir in chili pepper flakes, green onions, spicy peppers, and ground pepper. Simmer and adjust to taste.
