Instructions
- Slice the onions thinly into half-moons.
- Combine apple cider vinegar, hot honey, and salt in a bowl, whisking until dissolved.
- Add the sliced onions to the pickling liquid along with black peppercorns and chili peppers, if using.
- Transfer the mixture to a jar, seal tightly, and refrigerate.
