Delicious and easy oven baked chicken thighs in a rich and creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the chicken thighs, skin side down, and sear until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  5. Flip the thighs and pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream.
  6. Bring to a simmer, then transfer the skillet to the oven.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, let it simmer longer before transferring to the oven. Feel free to adjust seasonings to taste.
