Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (about 350 g)
  • 100 g (ยฝ cup) granulated sugar
  • 50 g (ยผ cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 170 g (1ยฝ cups) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ยผ teaspoon salt
  • 100 g (ยฝ cup) chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175ยฐC (350ยฐF).
  2. Mash the 3 ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in 100 g (ยฝ cup) granulated sugar, 50 g (ยผ cup) melted butter, and 1 egg until combined.
  4. Whisk together 170 g (1ยฝ cups) all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and ยผ teaspoon salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients using a rubber spatula.
  6. Fold in 100 g (ยฝ cup) chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Divide the batter evenly between the two mini loaf pans.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool the mini loaves in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
