- 1 pound beef (sliced, such as sirloin or flank steak)
- 1 bunch asparagus (trimmed)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Place sliced beef and asparagus on a large piece of aluminum foil.
- Drizzle the sauce mixture over the beef and asparagus.
- Fold the foil into a packet, sealing all edges.
- Place the packet on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the beef is cooked to your liking and the asparagus is tender.
- Carefully open the foil, letting the steam escape.
- Serve warm and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheating in the oven or microwave helps retain moisture and flavor.
