  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 minced garlic cloves

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bok choy by rinsing it under cold water and cutting each piece in half lengthwise.
  2. Mix the sauce in a small bowl with soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, and chili flakes.
  3. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
  4. Add minced garlic to the pan, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Place the bok choy cut side down in the skillet and sautรฉ for 2 minutes.
  6. Toss the bok choy and continue cooking for an additional 2โ€“3 minutes until tender but still crisp.
  7. Pour the sauce over the bok choy and toss to coat evenly, cooking for another minute.
