Description

This banana chocolate chip bread is moist and delicious, perfect for breakfast or a snack, and easy to make in just a few steps.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (about 450 g)
  • 80 ml (โ…“ cup) melted butter
  • 150 g (ยพ cup) granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200 g (1ยฝ cups) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ยฝ tsp salt
  • 150 g (1 cup) chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175ยฐC (350ยฐF). Grease your loaf pan with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas using a fork until smooth.
  3. Add the melted butter, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Stir until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Can freeze for up to 3 months.
