Ingredients

  • 12 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat chicken breasts dry and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
  3. Transfer seared chicken to a greased baking dish and pour BBQ sauce evenly over each breast.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar on top.
  5. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the dish rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
