- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat chicken breasts dry and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer seared chicken to a greased baking dish and pour BBQ sauce evenly over each breast.
- Sprinkle crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar on top.
- Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the dish rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing cheese types or using different BBQ sauces. Experiment with vegetable add-ins for a complete meal.
