Description

A creamy and rich cheesy garlic parmesan spaghetti thatโ€™s perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 250 g (9 oz) Spaghetti
  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
  • 240 ml (1 cup) Heavy Cream
  • 100 g (1 cup) Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 60 g (ยผ cup) Butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil 1.5 liters of water in a large pot. Add salt and the spaghetti. Cook according to package directions until al dente, about 8โ€“10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sautรฉ for 2โ€“3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring until combined. Gradually Add grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water.
  4. Add the drained spaghetti to the sauce and toss well to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add more pasta water until desired consistency.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Serve with a fresh salad or garlic bread. For drinks, pair with white wine or sparkling water with lemon.
