Description

A delicious and tangy strawberry rhubarb pie, perfect for springtime desserts.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 premade pie crust
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine strawberries, rhubarb, sugar, flour, and vanilla.
  3. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  4. Dot with butter pieces.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 40-45 minutes until the filling is bubbly.
  6. Cool before serving.
