Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Choose ripe peaches and slice them.
  2. Make a simple syrup by dissolving sugar in water in a saucepan over low heat; cool.
  3. Blend sliced peaches with cooled syrup, lemon juice, and a splash of water until smooth.
  4. Optionally strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve for extra smoothness.
  5. Pour the mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container and freeze for 3-4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes for the first 2 hours to prevent large ice crystals.
  6. Once frozen, blend again until creamy if needed, or serve immediately after softening at room temperature.
  7. Garnish with fresh peach slices or mint before serving.
