Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Cheese slices (American or cheddar)
  • Miniburger buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato, sliced
  • Ketchup and mustard for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway until golden and crispy.
  3. In a bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; mix well and form into small patties.
  4. Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side, or until done. Add cheese in the last minute to melt.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a tater tot on each bun, then a beef patty, lettuce, and tomato.
  6. Close with the top bun and secure with a toothpick if desired.
  7. Serve with ketchup and mustard.
