- ½ head green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: slice cabbage, chop onion, and mince garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add cabbage, sugar, salt, and pepper; stir well.
- Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until cabbage is tender with golden edges.
- Optionally, add smoked paprika in the last few minutes for extra flavor.
