Description

Deliciously soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies that are quick and easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely golden.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a twist, add nuts or different types of chocolate chips.
