Cheesy Mozzarella Chicken Bake is a flavorful and easy-to-make dish that combines chicken, marinara sauce, and two types of cheese.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on both sides. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the chicken breasts, making sure they are well covered. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve warm with pasta, rice, or a side salad.
